Job Title: Substitute, Afterschool ProgramJob Summary

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Substitute, Afterschool Program to join our team at Muddy Creek Charter School. As a Substitute, Afterschool Program, you will provide coverage for our regular Afters Staff as needed, supporting our after-school program for elementary-aged youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students at all times during the program
  • Plan and execute engaging games and group activities
  • Set up and clean up facilities before and after use each day
  • Check students in and out of the program at dismissal and pick-up with IDs and make notes of late-pickups
  • Enter attendance data as needed
  • Communicate with parents/guardians as needed regarding program attendance and billing
  • Report to the Executive Director as needed
Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be willing to become CPR certified
Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Pursuing coursework in or related to the field of education, preferred
Work Environment

The work environment is quiet to loud depending on the activity in the particular part of the day.
