Job Title: P&C Claims Associate

At Marsh McLennan Agency-Bouchard Region, we are seeking a highly skilled P&C Claims Associate to join our team. As a P&C Claims Associate, you will play a critical role in triaging incoming emails, reporting new claims, and assisting our P&C Claims Consultants in servicing Business Insurance (BI) clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage incoming emails in the P&C Claims Inbox and report new claims to the applicable insurance carrier(s)
  • Promptly and effectively manage the reporting of new claims
  • Identify which policy(ies) apply to a claim incident/scenario
  • Contact clients when additional information is required to report a claim
  • Enter new claims in Sagitta to create Acord Loss Notice
  • Set up and maintain claim files in Image Right, filing all client and carrier correspondence
  • Provide claims information from carriers to clients on newly reported claims
  • Assist Claims Consultants and BI service teams with claims inquiries and follow-up
  • Effectively and courteously answer inquiries and questions from insureds and claimants
Requirements:
  • Thorough working knowledge of Sagitta and Image Right, with the ability to maintain and organize all correspondence in the company document management system
  • Solid technical insurance knowledge and background of business insurance coverage
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills necessary to communicate with clients, carriers, and claims adjusters
  • High self-motivation with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a high-performing team
  • Ability to always maintain a professional manner
