Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Water Resources Engineering Specialist to join our team at Houston Engineering, Inc. (HEI). Since our inception in 1968, we have been at the forefront of civil engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting, committed to delivering exceptional client service and promoting a collaborative workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute hydraulic and hydrological modeling tasks
  • Conduct thorough engineering analyses and calculations
  • Create detailed design plans and specifications for various projects
  • Support project management activities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil and water resources engineering
  • Possession of an IA Professional Engineer license or the ability to secure one within 6 months
  • A strong desire to develop leadership and project management capabilities
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship

This position entails involvement in a variety of civil engineering initiatives, water resources assessments, and drainage system enhancements. Some travel within the region may be necessary for project-related meetings and management tasks.
