Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at SpringHill Suites Seattle Issaquah. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert mixology, and a passion for creating memorable moments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve Guests with Excellence: Provide attentive and efficient service to guests in the bar, restaurant, and room service areas.
  • Mixology Mastery: Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, using fresh ingredients and creative flair.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food prepared in the restaurant as needed, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Guest Requests: Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Order Taking and Payment: Complete guest orders accurately and collect payments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Bar Maintenance: Clean and wash barware, utensils, and the bar area, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory, ordering, and receiving of all food and beverage items, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Team Collaboration: Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments, ensuring a cohesive and effective team effort.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous food and beverage and/or serving experience is required, with some locations requiring bartending experience specifically.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing and moving around for an entire shift, with the ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Permits: A Food Handlers Permit and Alcohol Servers Permit are required, with the ability to obtain them as needed.
  • Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
