Job Summary

The University System of New Hampshire is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive healthcare services to student-athletes at Keene State College. As a key member of the athletic department, you will work closely with the Head Athletic Trainer, athletic training staff, team physicians, and health services to ensure the well-being and safety of student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of student-athlete healthcare, including prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student-athlete health information using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate with the Head Athletic Trainer and athletic training staff to develop and implement injury prevention and treatment plans.
• Work closely with team physicians and health services to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field, or Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field with relevant experience.
• Current certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (CAT) or Board of Certification (BOC) certification.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of New Hampshire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-professional Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Experience in collegiate athletic medicine, including working with student-athletes and athletic staff.
• Certification as a CPR instructor.
