Role Summary:

We are seeking a committed and skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our exceptional healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential care to patients facing severe health challenges in our Critical Care Unit. Your extensive training will equip you to manage patients recovering from major surgeries, as well as those experiencing critical conditions such as heart attacks or strokes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patient health status continuously.
  • Identify and respond to any changes in patient conditions promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and their families regarding patient progress.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Act swiftly in medical emergencies, ensuring immediate notification of the appropriate medical staff.
  • Support patients during their recovery process in the Critical Care Unit.
  • Complete necessary documentation before patient transfers.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care in compliance with standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts and complete assigned duties within the designated timeframe.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in a clinical environment.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Relevant certifications as required by the facility.
  • Strong understanding of health information systems and technology.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in high-pressure and emotionally charged situations.
  • Availability for 12-hour shifts, both day and night.
