About the Job

Terry's Heating & A/C, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services to our residential customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide Maintenance and Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Customers: Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively, and ensure a high-quality experience for our customers.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with our Service Manager to identify technical training needs, inventory requirements, and retail pricing.
  • Participate in Utility Programs: Work on utility programs and retrofit installations as needed to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience and Education: 3+ years of experience in HVAC preferred, with a strong mechanical background and HVAC education.
  • Driving Record: A clean driving record and insurable driving record are required.
  • Certifications and Skills: Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, familiarity with a wide range of equipment, and experience making repair and replace decisions.
  • Customer Service: Advanced customer service skills and a willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
  • Additional Requirements: Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices, air balancing principles, and techniques.
