Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of nursing practice. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. This includes monitoring fetal and maternal well-being, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies, and assisting with deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the progress of labor through regular assessment of contraction patterns, cervical dilation, fetal heart rate, and maternal vital signs
- Administer medications, including pain relief options, as prescribed and monitor their effects
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized care

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
