Veracity is seeking a highly skilled Process Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation and control systems for industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation System Design: Develop and implement automation systems for industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Control System Programming: Design and program logic for PLCs, drive systems, and combustion control systems.
  • SCADA and HMI Development: Develop SCADA and operator interface applications to monitor and control industrial processes.
  • Database Design and Development: Design and develop databases to store and manage data from industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical components, diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Project Management: Develop project manuals, electrical schematics, and budgets for electrical systems.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Transfer knowledge to customers through training, discussions, presentations, and startup assistance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry, with expertise in industrial processing equipment, instrumentation and control, AC and DC drives, PLCs, combustion systems, design, maintenance, and/or operation.
  • Technical Skills: Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and drive experience, CAD experience with AutoCAD, SCADA system and HMI application experience, computer programming, networking, database, and reporting skills.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, presentation, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
