Position Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehousing functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing warehouse personnel and their daily tasks.
  • Support the warehouse manager in optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Verify all incoming shipments against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
  • Input all received packing slips into the inventory management system, adhering to company protocols for discrepancies.
  • Process incoming stock orders promptly, ensuring timely placement in designated storage locations.
  • Ensure all stock items are accurately labeled with barcode bin labels.
  • Identify and locate new stock items in the inventory system.
  • Manage inter-branch shipments by confirming counts against packing slips and updating records accordingly.
  • Create picking lists and organize parts in the designated areas as per packing slip instructions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of three months of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance standards, if driving is required.
  • Forklift certification is required within 90 days of employment; candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to operate a box or cardboard crusher.
  • Proficient in computer use and willing to learn any necessary software programs.
