Job Title: Local Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician I

At Pearce Services, we're committed to delivering exceptional service and solutions to our clients. As a Local Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician I, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our nation's wind energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including fueling, lubrication, and repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally, adhering to company policies and insurance requirements.
  • Complete and maintain accurate company and client documentation, utilizing computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
  • Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping oil and grease spills.
  • Perform other daily work requirements as directed by your supervisor, with general supervision.
Requirements:
  • Less than two years of experience in wind maintenance.
  • Graduate from an accredited trade school or relevant mechanical or electrical experience.
  • GWO Certification (preferred).
  • Ability to work in confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
  • Meet customer and company standards, including following project schedules.
Physical/Work Environment:

At Pearce Services, safety is our top priority. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA/DOT standards.

  • Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
  • Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
  • Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses.
