The Catholic Social Services of the Diocese of Scranton is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Life Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to young adults with mental health concerns.

Job Description:

This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's or bachelor's degree desired. You must be of good moral character, dependable, reliable, and emotionally stable.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners. They must also be able to pass a physical examination and have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Ambitious candidates with experience working in residential settings, preferably with vulnerable populations, are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid, and have completed VIRTUS training.

  • Responsible for maintaining residential life in a harmonious manner, ensuring all residents can live comfortably.
  • Use active listening techniques with residents, teach interaction and daily living skills.
  • Promote dignity and self-worth, maintain a respectful environment.
  • Assist residents in attaining goals, monitor medication adherence, and keep accurate records.
