Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Coarc. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide speech and language therapy services to children in our preschool special education program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide screenings, individual or group speech and language therapy, and annual assessments to children enrolled in special education services.
  • Coordinate these services with other program staff and clinicians.
  • Make recommendations for individual or group speech and language therapy, communication goals, and communication enhancing methodologies.
  • Provide direction and oversight to program staff involved in providing communication skills training.
  • Perform data collection procedures and report writing in accordance with program policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a field related to Speech and Language Pathology.
  • NYSED Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • One year of prior experience working with special education children.
  • Exceptional written, communication, and computer skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
