Job Title: Home Health Registered Nurse RN

At KidsCare Home Health, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents, following a physician's orders and adhering to state, federal, and national accreditation commission regulations.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician.
  • Document timely, clear, and accurate clinical notes in accordance with the plan of care.
  • Notify the RN Case Manager of any changes in the patient's condition.
  • Provide and document education to patients and their families on specific details of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure that patients are receiving quality care, necessary to achieve, and exceed individual goals.
Qualifications:
  • Current State Registered Nursing License or compact license where applicable.
  • One (1) Year Home Health Experience.
  • One (1) Year Pediatric Experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Reliable Transportation.
Physical Demands/Working Environment:

The position requires regular bending, reaching, standing, stooping, sitting, twisting, talking, and hearing. The nurse must be able to push and pull 50 pounds, support 50 pounds of weight, and lift 50 pounds. The nurse must also be able to carry equipment and supplies and see information up to 24 inches away.
