Job Overview:
The selected candidate will serve as a Merchandise Quality Assurance Specialist, tasked with the critical role of evaluating incoming products to ensure they align with the specifications outlined in the purchase order regarding style, color, and size.

This position also involves generating precise SKUs utilizing the RDM system for effective tracking and executing secondary sorting of merchandise.


In Simpler Terms:
This role is about verifying that new products correspond to what was ordered and organizing them by creating unique identification codes. The individual will also categorize items into various groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Print the Receiving Worksheet from the RDM system.
  • Collaborate with Unit ID to identify the next sorting level for purchase orders.
  • Sort packages by style for further breakdown.
  • Transfer products from vendor cartons into designated containers.
  • Utilize box cutters to open incoming packages.
  • Maintain daily production records.
  • Verify that the quantity, color, style, and size of all items in a shipment correspond with the information recorded in the RDM system.
  • Create and apply MLPs and LPNs to ensure merchandise tracking throughout the distribution center process.
  • Input data into the RDM system using distribution center computers.
  • Reorganize units into multiple containers when additional sorting is necessary.
  • Generate detailed SKUs or sub-SKUs for tracking and labeling purposes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills:
  • Required:
    Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, strong self-motivation, computer proficiency, capability to read small print, and proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding written instructions in English.
  • Preferred:
    Experience with the RDM system and familiarity with MS Word.

Physical Requirements:
This position necessitates working in a warehouse setting, requiring standing on a concrete surface for extended periods. Responsibilities include continuous standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling, along with frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Competitive pay rates starting at $18.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities as needed. Associates receive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits after one week, including medical, dental, and vision options. Compensation Details:
Pay rates range from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.
