Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Talent Engagement Specialist. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will play a critical role in helping job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers, and community sites.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to job seekers and career changers, ensuring they receive the resources and guidance needed to achieve their career goals.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders and community partners to identify and address local needs and resources, ensuring our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of workforce professionals, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local employers, identifying opportunities for job seekers and career changers to gain employment and advance in their careers.
Requirements
  • Related Associate degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience.
  • Related work experience in workforce development or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to job seekers and career changers.
  • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.
  • One to three years' experience in workforce development or a related field, preferred.
