We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team at Ascension St Joseph in Elgin, IL.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the daily operations of interventional imaging services, ensuring quality imaging, patient care, and workflow.
- Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy, and oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members, providing input to staff performance evaluations and assisting with staff orientation, training, and coaching.
- Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage areas, and other areas.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
