The Executive Director Clinical Diagnostic Services is responsible for the overall operations of the Radiology, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Pain Management and Neurodiagnostic testing, and treatment services offered by University Hospital. This role requires strategic planning, leadership, and collaboration to drive quality and performance improvement initiatives that lead to better patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic and business plans to address the needs of patients within the services
• Gather support for initiatives through relationships with other departments and medical staff
• Coordinate quality and performance improvement initiatives
• Lead the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Administration, Business, Science, or a related field is required. Seven years of experience in an academic or clinical setting, including at least three years at the managerial level, is also required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Prior experience working in a unionized environment is preferred.
