The Search UX team is dedicated to researching, designing, and enhancing user experiences within Search to foster user trust and elevate satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect updates from team members while managing project timelines, roadmaps, and documentation to ensure projects remain on schedule.
2. Identify interdependencies among managed programs and enhance prioritization with clear justifications.
3. Assist the UX lead in producing organized and precise documentation of project scope, plans, and feedback for various stakeholders at different stages.
4. Facilitate communication within core and extended project teams, as well as with functional and regional leaders as necessary. This includes requesting assets, gathering feedback, organizing action items, and securing necessary approvals.
5. Provide consistent updates to the UX PgM Lead, emphasizing progress, challenges, and potential solutions. This role requires effective context-switching, making timely reporting crucial for success and efficiency.
Required Experience:
- Over 8 years of Program Management experience in UX Design or Product Operations.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and create structured solutions.
- Proactive self-starter capable of driving work independently.
- Experience managing competing and evolving priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
Essential Skills:
Project Management:
Lead daily operations across a high-performing UX and cross-functional team, including task tracking, milestone management, resource allocation, prioritization, and escalation management to maintain project velocity and deliver on roadmaps.
Process Enhancement:
Collaborate with UX leads and PgM leads to identify obstacles at both project and program levels, design and implement effective solutions, and support process improvements that enhance velocity, cohesion, and overall team performance.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Effectively coordinate and communicate across teams working towards common objectives to ensure shared knowledge, alignment, and cohesion, thereby improving team effectiveness and product quality.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
