The successful candidate will have a strong background in human-computer interaction, human factors, and research settings. You will work closely with our talented team of UI designers, researchers, writers, content designers, and product managers to create the best possible experience for our users.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and scope research opportunities with cross-functional partners across product development life cycles.
  • Design and conduct a mix of tactical and strategic research across all stages of the product development lifecycle.
  • Clearly communicate research agendas with cross-functional partners, understanding and balancing business requirements and technical constraints with user needs.
  • Drive change through research, making findings convincing and actionable for both research experts and non-experts.
  • Plan UX research studies by working with stakeholders.
  • Execute research studies.
  • Communicate findings through presentations and reports.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an applied research setting.
  • High flexibility and willingness to react rapidly if needed.
  • Research experience in voice-based digital assistants, mobile devices, or GenAI.
  • Track record demonstrating excellent command of research questions within a given domain, and of technical tools for the analysis of data within that field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
  • Strong stakeholder management and peer collaboration skills.
