Job Summary

TradeCorp is seeking a skilled Electrician Technician to join our team. As an Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Power Generation and Distribution: Power up temporary generators for construction daily and power down.
  • Aerial Lift Operation: Must have Aerial Lift Certification to include Boom and Scissor Lift Operation-Must Have Harness with Lanyard needed.
  • Technical Documentation: Read blueprints, circuit diagrams, and other technical documents.
  • Wire and Conduit Installation: Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Electrical Component Installation: Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • System Testing and Maintenance: Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical components, equipment, or systems, to ensure proper functioning – May require working from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs.
  • Wiring and Conduit Installation: Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools.
  • Low Voltage System Installation: Place conduit, pipes, or tubing inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed. areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduits or ducts to complete circuits between boxes.
  • Electrical System Installation: Perform installation on low voltage systems, electronic fire alarm systems, pull stations, strobes, horns, detectors, exit signs and other related building system products.
  • Part Fabrication and Installation: Construct or fabricate parts using hand tools according to specifications.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduits or moving or lifting heavy objects.
  • Electrical Unit Inspection: Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections using hand tools.
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts and reassemble equipment using hand tools.
  • Team Leadership: Direct work of employees with less experience and assist these individuals as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experienced Mechanics with at least 2 years of experience in single & three phase power.
  • Language Skills: Speak, Read and Write English.
  • Seniority: Journeymen and foremen with at least 5 years of experience in the position.
  • Availability: Must be available to work 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday at minimum.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: PPE and own basic tools required for the trade.
  • Reliability: Reliable transportation.
  • Soft Skills: Good attitude and work well with others.
