Job Overview

Wagstaff is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Specialist for our 2nd shift operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the functionality of machinery and CNC equipment through preventive maintenance and repair tasks on motors, conveyor systems, and all mechanical components of the CNCs and related equipment. The ideal candidate will oversee and operate machines to evaluate performance, ensuring compliance with company standards, and will be tasked with diagnosing issues and executing repairs on all production and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all vehicles and related equipment, including forklifts and motorized carts.
  • Manage the logistics of maintenance repair parts, including coordination of ordered materials.
  • Assist in the maintenance of plant equipment, such as CNC machines, overhead cranes, and compressed air systems.
  • Perform maintenance on facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and lighting.
  • Support special project tasks as directed by management.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Two years of experience in industrial, mechanical, or electrical maintenance, or relevant educational qualifications.
  • Technical certificate or degree in a maintenance-related field.
  • Proficient in repairing and maintaining facility and plant equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment:

This position involves exposure to mechanical parts, machinery, and potential hazards associated with a manufacturing setting. Employees may encounter fumes, airborne particles, and other risks. Proper personal protective equipment is required to ensure safety.
