Ambulatory Care Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Summerville Medical Center. With over 2,000 sites of care and serving over 31.2 million patient interactions every year, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients.
Job SummaryThis role involves providing safe nursing care and a safe environment for patients and families, as well as administering medication and IV fluids accurately and safely within nursing guidelines. As an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse, you will also be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the Ambulatory Care department.
- Assessing patients upon return from OR and/or diagnostic procedure and documenting findings.
- Providing prompt and effective care to patients, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
- Transcribing and implementing physician orders and documenting all patient-related information.
We offer a competitive salary of $83,000 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits such as comprehensive medical coverage, retirement plans, and opportunities for career advancement.

To be eligible for this role, you must have a graduate degree in nursing (Associate or higher) and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice. You should also have a minimum of one year's experience in day surgery, critical care, or PACU nursing.
