Sevenson Environmental Services, Inc. is a General Contractor seeking an intermediate level professional to support environmental construction projects in the San Francisco area.
Job Responsibilities:- Report daily construction activities and maintain daily material delivery tracking and various construction production logs.
- Preparation of written work plans and drawings, quality control of ongoing construction work in accordance with the project construction drawings and specifications.
- Coordination of site deliveries with field personnel, procurement of materials, equipment rentals and professional services.
- Project scheduling, project accounting and cost tracking / financial management, writing Purchase Orders for various material purchases, equipment rentals, and subcontracts.
- Coordination of various work tasks with site supervision, participation in weekly meetings with the project stakeholders, interfacing with the client and their representatives.
Project execution typically includes heavy civil construction, extensive earthwork, installation of earth retention systems, utility support and replacements, demolition, deep soil mixing, dredging, metals fixation, and soil disposal.
Following completion of remediation, Sevenson performs site restoration, which includes restoration of utilities, roadways and sidewalks, wetlands, streams and waterways, dams and earthen embankments, residential and commercial landscaping, recreational fields, etc.
