A client of Robert Half is seeking a Director of IT to lead the IT department, focusing on the management and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, especially Business Central. This role is key in ensuring seamless integration of IT infrastructure across operations, driving efficiency, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals; identify opportunities for technological improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• ERP Systems Management: Oversee Business Central configuration and optimization; ensure integration with finance, production, quality, and supply chain operations; maintain system security and compliance.
• IT Infrastructure & Support: Manage IT infrastructure, including cybersecurity and data management; lead IT support services and vendor collaborations.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and data privacy laws; implement cybersecurity measures.
• Software Integration & Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software utilization; identify software requirements to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of IT management experience
• 5+ years in a leadership role focused on ERP systems in manufacturing, preferably food-related.
• Strong project management skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulations.
• Proven IT Infrastructure & Support, Compliance & Security, Software Integration experience.
• MUST HAVE in-depth knowledge of ERP systems (either or, Microsoft Business Central or Navision), and manufacturing operations.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
