Job Title: Senior Research Scientist

Peraton Labs is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist to join our team of experts in designing, developing, and prototyping Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions for wireless systems. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for researching concepts, developing cutting-edge solutions to complex problems, and communicating the results of your research through customer presentations and publications.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, analyze, model, and simulate RF signal processing algorithms for wireless system applications.
  • Implement, debug, and test wireless application prototypes on third-party software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.
  • Write design documents, simulation reports, and system documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing SDR solutions.
  • Knowledge of Open Air Interface (OAI) or srsLTE software stacks.
  • Knowledge of LTE standards.
  • BS/BA, MS/MA, Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly.
