About the Role

Amergis is seeking a skilled Behavior Technician to join our team in Carpinteria, CA. This full-time position requires 30-35 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide behavior assistance and interventions to children and adults with special needs, collaborating with school professionals and behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and review client progress regularly.
  • Assist clients in developing independent skills through self-care activities such as toileting, clothing routines, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.
  • Collect data accurately and efficiently, documenting session details according to policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of relevant experience preferred, but not required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
