Johnsonlink Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our growing team. We are committed to providing exceptional orthodontic care in a positive and supportive environment.

As a key member of our Orthodontics department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and infection control. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously sterilize and maintain all instruments and equipment used in patient procedures.

Position Summary

The Sterilization Technician works independently to guarantee that instruments are thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and functioning correctly. This role is essential for optimizing workflow and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all established sterilization protocols and procedures with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sterilize and pack instruments and equipment according to department guidelines, maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on sterilizers and other equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintain a well-stocked inventory of sterilization supplies and instruments, promptly communicating any needs for replenishment.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict sanitation standards.
  • Assist clinical assistants with patient care tasks as needed, such as seating patients and preparing treatment areas.
Qualifications
  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a dental or orthodontic setting, preferably in sterilization procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
