Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Services Tech to join our team at St. Michael Medical Center. As an Environmental Services Tech, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in cleaning emergency spills and sanitize and sterilize clinic areas to prevent the spread of infection and maintain a clean environment.
  • Monitor floor care cleaning inventory to ensure that all necessary supplies are available and in stock.
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms and public areas as assigned daily, following established procedures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Identify and report any unsafe or unsanitary conditions to the Team Leader, ensuring that all areas of the hospital are safe and clean for patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in environmental services or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
