The Opportunity
Veeva Systems is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will work closely with developers, functional QA, and product managers to create and sustain a comprehensive suite of automated test cases that ensure product excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive automation test suites.
  • Automate API testing utilizing RestAssured.
  • Automate UI testing for web applications using Selenium or for iOS and Android native applications with Appium.
  • Guarantee product quality through CI/CD methodologies.
  • Contribute to enhancements in automation infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA on automation strategies and methodologies.
  • Mentor team members through code reviews and collaborative programming sessions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the software industry, with a solid history of designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in Java (knowledge of Java 8+ preferred).
  • Experience with TestNG and Gradle or Maven.
  • Familiarity with the Page Object Pattern.
  • Experience utilizing APIs to establish test data/state for UI tests.
  • Extensive experience with automation tools: RestAssured and Selenium for web or Appium for mobile.
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline management with tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and coaching abilities, along with excellent written and verbal English skills for complex analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Applications, MIS, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in testing/automating GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with the Apollo library and AWS/Docker.
  • Experience in performance testing with JMeter.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $110,000 - $270,000
  • The salary range provided complies with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and location. We evaluate compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for additional types of compensation beyond base salary, such as variable bonuses and/or stock bonuses.
