Job Summary

This position involves working with medical records, extracting relevant data, and ensuring accuracy in clinical research forms. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, prior experience in data entry, and some knowledge of medical terminology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reads and understands clinical data from medical records, extracting required information for clinical research forms
  • Maintains currency of research regulations, including reporting of Serious Adverse Events (SAEs)
  • Interfaces with sponsors of externally sponsored trials, providing timely data entry and monitoring visits
  • Ensures data accuracy on clinical research forms prior to submission for in-house, National Cancer Institute (NCI), or Cooperative Group studies
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
  • Prior experience as a Data Manager in a clinical trials setting preferred
  • Good attention to detail and prior data entry experience required
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology an advantage
