About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to individuals in crisis as part of a two-person response team, providing emotional support and connecting them with community resources.
  • Assist in de-escalating crisis situations through engagement and coordination with team members.
  • Establish rapport and build trust with clients, sharing your personal experiences and recovery journey to support their well-being.
  • Provide skill-building and case management services to clients with high needs, promoting their recovery and independence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to client privacy laws, demonstrating sensitivity and understanding of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of experience in the behavioral health field, including active participation in the recovery process.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel.
  • The ability to obtain the Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) credential within one year of hire.
