Inventory Management Specialist

The Logistics and Warehouse Manager at 360 Talent is a vital role that demands a skilled professional with extensive experience in logistics management, warehouse operations, and inventory control. As a Logistics and Warehouse Manager at 360 Talent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will also develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock-outs and reduce carrying costs. Additionally, you will assist with the implementation of the Essent ERP system, coordinate the transportation and distribution of goods, and continuously evaluate and improve logistics and warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
We estimate an annual salary of approximately $85,000 for this role, based on industry standards and the company's requirements. However, this figure may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock-outs and reduce carrying costs.
- Assist with the implementation of the Essent ERP system, including inputting of SKUs, file maintenance, and involvement with project teams.
- Coordinate the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in logistics management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
