Looking to take your nursing skills to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team at Albany Med, the busiest Trauma Center in New York State.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Level One Trauma Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary emergency team, you will work collaboratively with first responders and LifeNet air-medical crews to deliver advanced care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
With access to state-of-the-art facilities and a Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI, and Advanced Critical Care Services, you will have the resources to excel in your role and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC charting software
- Pursue ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
