Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager - Retail Operations is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, including answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to the store manager.
  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain a high level of operational efficiency, including managing inventory, controlling expenses, and ensuring that all store systems are running smoothly.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
  • Loss Prevention: Ensure that all loss prevention procedures are followed, including monitoring sales floor activity, investigating incidents, and taking corrective action as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: A two-year college degree or equivalent work experience required. A degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Wholesale Management, or Accounting/Finance strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years experience in a retail work environment required. Must have at least two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to think critically and make good business decisions.
