Collector, Medical

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Collector, Specimen to join our team. As a key member of our collection team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accurate and timely collection of specimens.

• Specimen Collection: Collect specimens from clients in a safe and professional manner, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Logistics and Administration: Maintain accurate records of specimen collection, including Chain of Custody (COC) forms and other relevant documentation.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is in good working order, performing routine maintenance and reporting any issues to management.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in a related field, preferably in a medical or laboratory setting
• Certifications: Valid driver's license and DOT certification
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer skills
