Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Collector to join our team at Kedrion Biopharma Inc. KEDPLASMA LLC. As a Medical Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood donations from donors in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Interaction: Present a professional demeanor and appearance to donors, introducing yourself and explaining the phlebotomy process.
  • Donor Identification: Verify donor identification and review medical records to ensure eligibility for donation.
  • Phlebotomy Procedures: Perform phlebotomy procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), including arm preparation, collection volumes, and restarts.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and program Haemonetics Autopheresis equipment, understanding alarm signals and shutdown procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a medical or laboratory setting preferred.
  • Certifications: Certification in phlebotomy or a related field may be required.
