About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver high-value projects from pre-construction through project completion. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex construction projects, with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scopes of work and manage project procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Establish and maintain all aspects of construction project management, including planning, directing meetings, writing contracts, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Develop the overall project schedule, establish project milestone dates, and develop project standards and/or regulations.
  • Financial responsibility to ensure profitability on the project, reviewing and approving invoices, change orders, and project budgets.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with design professionals, subcontractors, customers, material suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and lead job meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Develop and nurture the performance of project team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to succeed.
  • Ensure proper and thorough project documentation, maintaining accurate records and reports throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years practical employment experience in the construction industry, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • College degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, practices, and regulations.
