Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at Expatiate Communications Inc. as a School Physical Therapist. This is a per diem, variable position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, understanding their physical conditions, symptoms, and challenges.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Utilize expertise to diagnose movement dysfunctions and create personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Treatment Implementation: Design and implement effective treatment plans to improve students' physical functionality and overall well-being.
  • Education and Guidance: Educate students on proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on incorporating these techniques into their daily routines.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other members of the educational team, including teachers, counselors, and administrators, to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of physical therapy.
