Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infusion Care Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients receiving complex pharmaceutical products and services outside of the hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to policies and procedures, as well as state laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff, physicians, and patients to develop and monitor treatment plans.
  • Assess patients, establish, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Manage vascular access devices, including insertion of peripheral infusion devices or peripherally inserted catheters (if certified).
  • Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and related care.
  • Evaluate patient progress and make recommendations for changes in care plans as needed.
  • Coordinate care with home health and other community agencies, as indicated.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work various shift models.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Must meet company standards for driving record and driver age requirement.
