Job Title: Quarterly Tool/Boot Allowance

We are seeking a skilled technician to utilize expertise in diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on both Diesel and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles.

The successful candidate will maintain GFL's fleet in safe and continuous road ready condition, while upholding the company's commitment to providing sustainable solutions for customers and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain GFL's Diesel and CNG fleet under supervision of maintenance department leadership and senior-level mechanics.
  • Perform basic inspections of brake systems, engine components, emission systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
  • Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they are working properly.
  • Complete reports, work orders, order parts and perform other administrative duties as required daily.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and other related state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and communicate with customers and external vendors.
  • Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred.
  • ASE certifications beneficial.

Salary: Estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per year
