Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Worker to join our team at PeopleReady in Las Vegas, NV. As an Assembly Worker, you will be responsible for assembling wooden panels to create requested products using a rubber mallet and screw guns. You will also be required to use cam locks and pin screws, understand and utilize the pull system, and maintain 5S. Additionally, you will be responsible for visual inspection of each component to ensure quality and follow all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble wooden panels to create requested products using a rubber mallet and screw guns
  • Use cam locks and pin screws, allowing assembly without glue
  • Understand and utilize the pull system
  • Maintain 5S
  • Visual inspection of each component to ensure quality
  • Responsible to follow all safety procedures
Requirements
  • Knowledge of screw guns and rubber mallets
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Knowledge of quality standards
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Previous furniture assembly preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work closely with others
  • Ability to use pneumatic screw guns and rubber mallet repetitively
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Good Dexterity
  • Endure extreme heat in summer (potentially while having to work 10-12 hour days)
  • Ability to stand on concrete floor while bending, lifting, and/or using repetitive motion of arms and hands
