About This Opportunity

Biogen is seeking a seasoned executive to lead our IgAN indication team as the Product Lead, driving long-term success for our asset in development across multiple Nephrology indications.

You will be accountable for leading an integrated cross-functional team to develop and execute the IgAN indication strategy and its associated annual operating plan, focusing on sustainable market growth globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the cross-functional team to develop and execute the product development and commercialization strategy for the IgAN indication.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for the IgAN indication.
  • Deliver a commercialization plan that proactively shapes the market, ensures scientific exchange and relationship building, plans and executes evidence generation, enables engagement with the patient community and advocacy groups, and impacts public policy.
  • Achieve a world-class launch by defining a launch plan that ensures organizational readiness and right-level resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with PDC Lead and Product Leads for other indications to ensure maximization of the overall value of the asset.
  • Collaborate with regional and affiliate colleagues to support the vision and strategy to effectively ensure launch and patient access to this important therapy in markets across the globe.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly collaborative leader with experience engaging with key medical experts, patient advocacy organizations, public policy makers, and investors to integrate these perspectives into product strategy.

  • Bachelors Degree Required; Advanced Degree Preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Commercial global or affiliate experience.
  • Prior launch experience. Experience with digital stakeholder engagement desired.
  • IgAN experience or experience in a highly-competitive nephrology/immunology indication.
  • Anticipated travel: up to 15% international.
