Job Summary:

Gastro Care Partners is seeking a skilled and experienced General Gastroenterologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform Advanced Gastrointestinal Procedures: Conduct colonoscopies, upper endoscopies (EGD), and polypectomy techniques to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions.
  2. Diagnose and Treat Gastrointestinal Conditions: Utilize endoscopic and non-endoscopic techniques to diagnose and treat a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
  3. Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  4. Provide Patient Education: Offer pre- and post-procedure consultations to patients and their families, explaining the risks and benefits of procedures and addressing any concerns.
  5. Stay Current with Advancements: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in gastroenterology through continuous education and professional development.
  6. Contribute to Clinical Research: Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the gastroenterology unit.
  7. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to gastroenterology services.
  8. Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and documentation.
Qualifications:
  1. Medical Degree: Possess a medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  2. Board Certification: Be board certified in Gastroenterology.
  3. Medical License: Be able to obtain a valid medical license to practice in Colorado.
  4. Experience: Have experience in performing gastroenterological procedures.
  5. Clinical Judgment: Possess strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  6. Communication Skills: Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Patient Care: Be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
  8. Teamwork: Be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
