Position Overview:

The Stock Control Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of inventory within designated sections of the store. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Accurately count and record inventory items by brand and flavor as assigned by the inventory supervisor.
  • Data Entry: Utilize handheld devices to scan and input all items, ensuring that each section is properly identified during the counting process.
  • Section Verification: After completing counts, tag each section for review by store management to confirm that all areas have been accounted for.
  • Fast Food Inventory: Conduct precise counts for fast food sections, including deli, chicken, and beverage departments, with all data recorded electronically.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the Inventory Supervisor with additional tasks as needed.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time role typically scheduled from Monday to Thursday, consisting of four 10-hour shifts. Some Fridays may be required for meetings and inventory counts. Early morning start times are common.


Working Conditions:

Employees may encounter various environmental conditions, including:

  • Cold temperatures in coolers and freezers.
  • Warm temperatures in deli and frying areas.
  • Potentially slippery surfaces in various store areas.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, which include:

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and squatting.
  • Constant movement, including standing and sitting for extended periods.
