Community Service Provider

Job Summary:
The Community Worker is a direct service provider to adult clients and their families, functioning according to the Intensive Services process and participating on the clients' multi-disciplinary team.
This position requires a strengths-based, client-centered, team-driven, community-based perspective, with a focus on solution-focused problem solving.
The Community Worker provides outreach, support, advocacy, system orientation, mentoring, and other supportive services to clients, assisting in the provision of services by providing linkage and rehabilitation.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field, together with at least six months of experience working with clients in a social service position.
Or Bachelor's degree in non-related field, together with at least one year of experience working with clients in a social service position.
Or high school diploma and two years of experience working with clients in a social service field.
Or high school diploma and one year of experience working with chronically mentally ill adults in an Intensive Services Program.
Bilingual Spanish Preferred.
Valid California driver's license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization's insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.

Salary Range:
$20.34 up to $29.36 per hour.
Additional $1.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential.
