Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement safe working practices in the assembly of prefabricated metal structures.
  • Collaborate with the foreman and fellow team members to ensure efficient task execution.
  • Engage in steel framing, wall sheeting, and insulation installation.
  • Perform roofing tasks and install trim, gutters, and related components.
  • Enhance trade knowledge and skills through hands-on experience.
  • Learn to interpret blueprints effectively.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including scissor lifts, forklifts, and boom lifts.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in the steel construction field, with a preference for those familiar with both structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites and stay away from home for extended periods.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • OSHA 10/30 training is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Able to lift weights up to 80 lbs.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
  • Must maintain a drug-free status and be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
  • Possession of personal tools is beneficial but not a requirement; we primarily utilize Milwaukie and some Makita power tools.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with weekends as necessary. We offer benefits such as travel per diem with paid lodging, performance bonuses, 401k matching, paid time off, and holidays.
