Project Manager Job Description

Linde Gas & Equipment, Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead project management and engineering services for our Pacific Northwest operations. This role is responsible for delivering projects that support process, industrial, specialty gas, and dry ice operating facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple project assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
  • Collaborate with safety, operations, R&D, and engineering teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement project plans, controlling elements and analyzing costs and benefits.
  • Communicate project status to senior management and business leaders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks, developing contingencies to maintain project momentum.
  • Lead team members, promoting design practices and ensuring compliance with project and industry safety standards.
  • Monitor project engineering and construction phases, ensuring compliance with contracts and safety regulations.
  • Identify and allocate resources to ensure project success, providing recommendations for operational efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 years of experience in project management and/or engineering disciplines.
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering Discipline.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership abilities, particularly in process safety.
  • Operations, maintenance, and capital projects experience.
  • Experience with Automated Controls Systems and Programming.
  • High ethical standards, prioritizing worker safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
