About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity with an estimated $62,000-$85,000 annual salary, depending on experience. You will be working with a diverse patient population, assessing their strengths and weaknesses to develop effective treatment plans that promote optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations, daily assessments, and progress reports to inform treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and training to patients and their support systems on various aspects of occupational therapy, including ADLs, IADLs, and community reintegration.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
- 1+ year of experience in hand therapy or a related field.
- Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with EMR software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
