Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our team at The Phoenix at Johnson Ferry. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Care
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and develop personalized service plans to ensure their care is tailored to their individual requirements.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, identifying any changes or concerns and reporting them to the Wellness Nurse.
- Assist with medication administration and ensure that residents receive the correct medication at the right time.
- Support the Wellness Nurse with completing clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and service plans.
- Inform the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of any changes in medication or service level that may result in a higher tier level or potential move-out.
- Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly for each resident prior to completion of monthly wellness visit.
- Leadership and Support
- Provide leadership support and assistance with resident care and services, ensuring that residents receive the highest level of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Must be certified as a Medication Aide and/or meet the state requirements for medication aide.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
- Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times.
